Holmium Applications

Holmium is a component of some magnetic alloys. Holmium compounds are in limited scale used in special glasses, also as phosphor activator and in microelectronics.

Radioactive Holmium-166 finds application as an analytical chemistry indicator. Holmium borate is used in atomic industry.
